Dr. Levin joined Gardner Animal Hospital in 2022 after more than a decade living and working in the Kansas City metro. She graduated from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 2010. Dr. Levin has worked in a variety of areas of the veterinary field, including private practice, housecall practice, and consulting services for both pet parents and veterinarians. Her diverse professional background has given her a unique perspective on veterinary medicine and the animal health industry.
Dr. Levin is particularly passionate about all aspects of internal medicine. Her interests include ophthalmology, infectious and vector-borne diseases, pain management, and chronic illness management. She will be Fear Free certified as of December 2022. Dr. Levin is currently working to develop her diagnostic imaging skills, including cardiac and abdominal ultrasound.
Dr. Levin lives in Olathe with her spouse, 3 children, and 3 cats. She has previously participated in AKC obedience and agility competitions. Her family has been involved with the Kansas City Renaissance Festival, as well as other festivals, as entertainers for more than 20 years. Dr. Levin loves to bake and sew in her free time. She has recently taken up learning acoustic guitar and – according to her family – is making great progress!
