Payment and Fees
Payment is expected at the time service is rendered. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, CareCredit*, ScratchPay, and cash. We make every effort to make fees fair and reasonable and will give you a printed estimate of services before they are rendered when requested. In case of emergency hospitalization, deposit arrangements must be made with the doctor or receptionist. If you are unable to meet the arrangement for payment outlined above, it is your responsibility to discuss this with the receptionist or doctor before services are rendered. Thank you for your cooperation.

When your pet needs you most, our Scratchpay payment plans can help make difficult financial decisions simple – 3 plan types & no hard credit check to see the plans you qualify for! Boarding & Daycare Policies
Proof of current immunizations by a licensed veterinarian are required for all guests for the following items:

  • Canines: Rabies and Distemper/Parvo/Corona (annually), Bordetella and a negative fecal (stool) test (semi-annual), and free of fleas
  • Felines: Rabies and Feline Distemper Respiratory Virus (annually), and a negative fecal (stool) test (semi-annual), and free of fleas
  • Any pet over 6 months of age MUST be spayed/neutered to participate in free play during Doggie Daycare

Understand that all animals at Dog Days Inn & Cat House are vaccinated and healthy, but that there are viruses (e.g. colds, bordetella) that cannot be fully vaccinated against and that in a social setting, such as boarding, you pet may be exposed to such. Dog Days Inn & Cat House follows the American Boarding Kennels Association recommendation requiring the bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination semi-annually, However, the vaccine does not guarantee the pet will not contract it, it makes the likelihood less and if they do contact bordetella, the severity and duration will be reduced. We will be happy to explain this in more detail if you have further questions.

All animals will be examined for fleas upon entering our facility. If fleas are found, flea treatment will be administered at the owner’s expense. After being treated the pet will be taken out of group play for a period of 2 hours, to allow the flea treatment to reach full effectiveness without exposing other animals in play.

For more detailed information regarding Boarding & Daycare Polices please see our Daycare/Boarding Agreement.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take walk-ins?
We go by appointments only at Gardner Animal Hospital to assure that each patient is seen in a timely manner. It can be stressful for pets to leave their home, so we don’t like to make them wait longer than necessary. In case of emergency please click here for information on how to contact us.

How do I transport my pet to your facility?
We recommend containing your cat in a carrier for the safety of your pet and other patients. Dogs must be on a leash. If your dog becomes aggressive at the vet, please muzzle him before arriving at our facility.
